Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef bones
  • 500 g beef (sirloin, thinly sliced)
  • 300 g rice noodles
  • 1 onion (halved)
  • 1 piece ginger (thumb-sized, sliced)
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Fresh herbs (basil, cilantro)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions
