Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Pecans for topping

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup of quinoa under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed quinoa and 2 cups of water. Bring it to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the quinoa is fluffy and the water is absorbed.
