Ingredients

  • 300g beef (sirloin or flank steak, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 60ml soy sauce
  • 30ml mirin
  • 20g brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 200g cooked grains (brown rice or quinoa)
  • 100g green beans (trimmed)
  • 50g shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 5ml sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki sauce.
  2. Marinate the beef in the teriyaki sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, prepare the grains according to package instructions.
