Ingredients

  • 400 g firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 200 g bok choy
  • 200 g rice
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the tofu cubes, frying until golden brown.
  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil to create the glaze.
  4. Pour the garlic-ginger glaze over the fried tofu and toss to coat evenly.
  5. In another pan, sauté the bok choy until wilted and tender.
  6. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  7. Assemble the bowl: start with rice at the base, add bok choy, and top with the glazed tofu.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
