Ingredients

  • 300g thinly sliced beef
  • 60ml soy sauce
  • 30ml sesame oil
  • 15g sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1g black pepper
  • 200g sticky rice
  • 1 egg
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 100g kimchi

Instructions

  1. Marinate the thinly sliced beef in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the sticky rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a hot pan, quickly sear the marinated beef on high heat until cooked through, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove from heat and let rest.
  4. Fry an egg sunny-side up in the same pan, for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Slice the beef into thin strips and arrange it over a bed of sticky rice.
