Wasabi Salmon Soba Bowl

Ingredients

  • 200g salmon fillet
  • 150g soba noodles
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 50g seaweed salad
  • 1 tablespoon wasabi paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the soba noodles according to package instructions, then rinse under cold water and set aside.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, and sear them in a hot pan for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. Once the salmon is cooked, remove from pan and let it rest.
  4. In the same pan, add a small amount of wasabi paste, mixing it with the salmon while it's warm.
  5. Prepare cucumber ribbons using a peeler and set aside.
  6. Assemble the bowl by placing a bed of soba noodles in the bottom, followed by the cucumber ribbons and seaweed salad.
  7. Top with the seared salmon, and sprinkle sesame seeds and additional wasabi if desired.
